+learning from mistakes+

we all make mistakes. the most important thing is to stand up to them and accept it, and not repeat them again. sadly to say, i've failed to and thus, i was punished for it. got the whole platoon into some extra training in the end. this is how things happen in the company. one guy gets into trouble, everyone gets punished. that how we learn. the f*cking hard way. i guess february wont be a very pleasant month for me, and some of the others.

what will you do when you feel unhappy? would you a) read a book b) listen to some music c) go out and smell the fresh air? for me, definitely blasting my favourite music so loud i feel so numb i can forget all the not very pleasant things. things aint looking very pleasant nowadays, especially when everyone has the i-cant-be-bothered-anymore attitude kicking in. we tend to get ourselves into lots of trouble, and that isnt a very nice situation to be in.

time to grow up. make the times in national service something worth learning. for now, there is still so much reflecting to be done.

+a note to all+

im starting to believe in retributions. or at least good people have good endings. i have said the wrong things to the wrong people. and so, things tend to get a little sour. two-thirds of January has quickly passed by without much of a hassle, at least not much progress in terms of daily activities, nor any news about every other little things that are walking pass. how have you all been doing? i start to read the blogs on my list again, after a very long period of not really catching up with you people. its really fun, to see how you all have been getting all busy with commitments, or work.

2007 seems to be a good year to eat less pork, eat more fruits & veggies, drink more milk and start believing in your faith. because its the year of the pig. because vitamin A, C is very important to your body. because we need more calcium to build up stronger bones so we wont have to worry about hairline bone fractures when we fall, osteoporosis, nor brittle bones when we get older. because we tend to lose track of ourselves in life, we need a torch to light the path ahead of us.

i think the rest was good for all of us. we sit back to think about everything that has already happened, while you have started to think even before it all began. i wouldnt say you are wrong, because being selfish is part of human's nature instint. and you definitely have proven yourself to be so much of a human being to me.

there still so much other things in life we need to worry about. from now on, lets just worry about how to get out of national service in one piece. [=

+superstar fanatics+

a single competition. a battle of singing and dancing. at the end of it, thousands bow to you for what you have proved yourself to be. more and more of these competition have been thrown at the nation, and organisers have also thrown in tons of money for advertising.

if you have been watching the idol or superstar competition for the past seasons, you will realise, by now, that the idol you've been supporting has been knocked out of the competition even though he has the best voice, or probably, has the best moves. the one who got through, might have looked better, or more supporters cheering him on. he may have been from a family of higher affluence, thus, receiving a larger number of phone calls.

thats how f-ing unfair the world is. we gotta swallow the fact. enjoy the rest of our pathetic 50 years of earthling lives, i.e. if we can live that long.

+standby+

the very first week of 2007 was quite crappy indeed. why would the prime minister want to organise an appreciation dinner on the first week of the new year? we would then need to standby, prepare our stores, get everything ready just for the big event. it was tiring, after resting for half the month of december and coming back to training again, yet fun because i haven seen the bunch of guys for so long and there's just so much catching up to do. i was so careless i actually flew off a stack of pallets and got some minor scratches in the process. lol.

the dinner eventually ended quite late and we stood down at 2355 hours. wondered what they were discussing about throughout the dinner, we certainly were cursing and swearing when the clock was close to 2300. it was very fun, lah, because we were talking alot about stuff. i had fun, laughing about everything. haven really had a good time just sitting down and just chill. it was too late to even get a cab due to the hiked surcharge, a few of us decided to stay for the night.

we had macdonalds' breakfast in the morning. haven really had fast food breakfast for quite some time already. and it reminds me of old times. big bf still as appealing. i'll never forget how it taste until i have, one day, lose all my senses. =D

im still figuring out how to convert my videos into mpeg4 so i can put them into my new ipod video. can anyone help because its really useless having to see that device just playing pure music. thanks.
