gosh. all the good shows on one nite.
im absolutely loving my life now.

its getting boring thou..
hopefully all these shows can end before my ns life starts

im finally having more time to read on the integrated resort issues
especially when i haf got so much more time to do wad i wan..
not doing any stuffs or working myself hard enuff..
life seemed carefree and stressless.. nah

back to the IR issue. everyone is simply debating on this now..
the social effects.. many of the ministers would wan to not build the casinos
cuz of the negative stuffs which might tempt the gamblers to destroy the family
bud thinking on the brightside, the benefits of building the IR in singapore would bring so much more cash, more tourists, thus increasing more revenue..

personally i feel that we are just jealous of wad other countries are doing
thus, afraid of losing out, as singaporeans as we can be, having the kia-su spirit in us
wans to have a share of the pie..
hopefully it all goes well.. cuz our country builds on its economy, and its people
and not on our resources.. which we do not have..
(stuffs we learn in school can be put into practice.. great.)

anyway, it was kinda last minute decision by some of them..
i was so bored and desperate to runaway from the house, or rather from my parent's consistant ranting..

im dying.. many of us are.. jobless, cashless, useless freaks
so much time to chew on.. dunno wad to do
someone ask me out please!
im so sick of sitting around at home. my parents are nagging so much i wished they'd just kill me
recalling this time last week was lwl paper.
one week on and we're now carefree.. like the unrestricted birds in the sky

first things first.. GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!
yes we are back.. to all those who haf been criticising us..
take back all the shit you haf been showering upon us
ruud's back for good. scholes is sharper den ever
and ronaldo's shining high and bright
i must say we are rather lucky in cardiff
cuz we never fail to score many goals there
recalling back to last may where i watched the FA Cup match in the UK a year ago
reminising the happy days where the fans sat in the pub on a breezy bud hot sat afternoon
cheering our club on.. the atmosphere is just great
hopefully the spirit goes on strong for us..
come may 21, we might just defend the cup and the only cup we could gain this season

had a visit to the bank today to make some deposition with my dad
the gal at the counter was busy trying to sell off the investment plan
no matter how hard she tried, my dad politely refused.
lol. u haf to be there to see it for yourself la. my dad is such a funny chap
the way he rejects it.. its like, super professional
oh, i compared the people at the customer service area with the ones at the reception
those at the customer service obviously looked better and younger
those at the reception counter were mostly aunties who spoke dialect.
thats the freaking diff. such a turn-off

the decision the country was waiting for finally came

the integrated resort was to be opened in singapore by 2009
im sure debates will continue to gather around the parliament, offices, schools and even kopitiams..
the reason why the govt gave the green light?
to promote tourism? or rather increase the govt's income?
giving the 100 bucks entry fee for sg citizens and pr will make us stay away from the casinos?
they're definitely making life suck more for us.
its like giving a piece of meat to a person next to u.
you dont necessarily haf to bother, bud the stench is obvously attracting your attention
so does that solve the fucking problem?

bud at least, its family-oriented. so the kids get some things to do at the theme parks.
the teenagers can catch a movie or shop around..

the reality of life has been knocking on my face..
maybe im just running away from it all these time..
as we grow older, we tend to realise wad society means,
wad it brings, and how hard life can get.

pretty girls always get the limelight; fat and unattractive girls always gets criticised and mocked
girls with charm tend to have endless phone calls and attention from the members of the opposite sex
those unappealing souls just get left on the shelves, collecting dust
this is reality. this is life. this is a fact.

the future of kids these days depend on a sheet of laminated paper call diploma or degree
whether you do well or suck depends on that one day,
that one moment which determines whether you work in the comforts of the office,
or the heaty conditions of the outside world.
i stil rmb mr peter tan, my sec 4 english teacher giving his morning lectures on monday mornings
really tiring. bud thinking back, i miss his words.
his fatherly words showered on us like words from the bible
he once told us the o levels is the most important paper in our lives.

finally.. it poured. fortunately we were already safe and walking back..

i know i know.. you guys are pressing me for the latest sleeze..
exams always comes first..
all the priortising and time management skills put into action for the first time this year..
im glad i've started to use them since i learnt them in sec sch..

my life as a tertiary student in sp officially ends here.
i guess thats wad they call.. ending a chapter in life
and beginning a new chapter all over again.
so im now at the end of chap 3.. and going into chap 4.
how cool is that?

anyway updates..
wed: (mugging can be fun and exciting)
went studying with jewel in compass point.
saw the girl who strikes fear in our class.. (p.s. ask the guys in our class..)
scary moments there. fortunately she left.
bud she overheard most of our conversation i guess
cute chick with her not so cute friend sitting in front of our table.
got us all distracted. bud motivated in a way..
life as a student sometimes just rocks.

fri: (the final showdown)
paper at 9am. the first time i woke up really early in weeks.
i really hate waking up even before the sun overwhelmes us with his warmth.
struggled thru the paper, as usual.
saw detailed well-drawn diagram across the desk on my left.

demoralised. bud not important anymore..

next stop after the papers.
where else bud our fav hiding spot whenever there was long breaks.
clementi. some played counterstrike. some of us preferred slow tempo games like pool.
5 hours of pool. legs tired. eyes tired.
we know its one of the final few moments the class can stick together.
some left for home after that.
the rest of us headed to town.
ps to be exact. dinner before our coffee chit-chat session at starbucks.
had our laughs, our usual lame jokes. army stories.

the airport-mugging trip was rather a success
so much changes to changi airport since i went there about a year ago
memories of going away for the overseas attachment stil vividly flows in my mind
here are some updates of the airport:
- did you know there are so many more restaurants and food courts located at level 3?
- and they are having more shops behind.. catering to our stomach
- wad a sweet move? or rather a lucrative move i suppose?
- that explains why there is no more viewing mall in terminal 2
- me and dan took the sky tram to terminal 1, hoping to see some planes, got lost along the way.. - terminal 1 viewing mall is also smaller now, no more couches. only wooden chairs there which are occupied by aunties and grandmas..
- kids running around the already narrow pathway. synergistic noise.
- managed to catch a couple of planes land. did calm my nerves abit

guess the updates did just enuff? for you who didnt go, or stays too far away from the east?
anyway, becuz of the noise, and no right ambience for real mugging, we decide to head back to t2
bk seemed nice. bud, too "open"
left with the new macdonalds. duno if it's really new, bud i tink i have never been to the airport for too long..
used to be a&w and bk respectively?
a&w probably like 5-10 years ago? cuz i used to haf the wafer ice-cream whenever i was there
did i mention i stayed so near the airport i used to go there so often with my parents for meals?

anyway, no more digressing, back to the main topic.

while walking to mac, we saw a pair of jap chicks jus arriving. just so kawaii.
found a rather quiet spot. started our chit-chat first.
and the couple. wearing tampines sec uniform.. doing hanky-panky just 10 metres from our table
and i was busy describing the details to dan. LOL.
another couple. sitting on our right this time, doing the same. intimate actions making the two desperate guys hard to concentrate.
another group of students, probably poly students too, were busy mugging away too.
maybe cuz the gender ratio was so equally divided, the guys' eyes seemed to be attentively locked within their table. one of the girl there was dressed rather "skimpily"
LOL. two hours pass. all of them left.
and the real action began...
all the tutorial done.
left for home after that.
all tired. and fruitful i guess. we did learn some stuff..

doing what they have to do.

studying was slow as usual

its the second day i woke up earlier than usual
today it was for something which held so much meaning
qing ming jie. sweep funeral day? not sure.
my initial idea was to skip it cuz i was to tend after my grandma till late last nite
and i was dead tired
anyhooos, my mom tried to wake me up like 10 times..
for almost half an hour

today aunt came to visit

after that, we headed to marina square.
pool and bowling. its been such a fun time really
cuz its so freaking cheap
and of cuz cheap stuffs you dont get quality tables and lanes
screwed up tables really.
and the bowling alleys. ask those who were there with us
how many times has the operator got to run over to our lane to reset the frames
celebrated xy's bdae. kinda early la. dont know why they haf to celebrate it today

anyhow, dinner at swensens.
headed to esplanade - no stars, no moon, just the night view
cars passing by ecp. aeroplanes flying by like once per 5 mins
missed the times i sit down and watch the planes take off and land
probably do that next week while mugging
im tired now. missed chase, OC and all the dramas after that. boohoo.
